Have you contacted your legislator to let them know you are holding them accountable? CAP faces numerous issues controlled by the State House and Senate and it is imparative that we know where our legislators stand on the issues. The General Assembly impacts the way we do business on a day-to-day business. The irony is that they work for us not the other way around and we need to let them know this and know that we are holding them accountable. Legislators need to know that we will not support them until they start supporting and fostering small business in PA. They depend on your silence; are you helping them? Are you simply grumbling about the economic climate and government policies/regulations or are you letting your legislators know about your issues with state government. We talking about advocating for less buraucracy, less tax burdens and fewer regulations. Small business is saddled with a plethora of fees, permits, taxes, licenses and mandates from the Commonwealth and it only increases annually. This relentless approach has pushed us to the brink and it is time we stand up and say "no more; we can not and will not take any more." So nows your chance, go to the attached site, find your legislator and communicate. If they won't listen contact the local newspapers and let them know. And we can always find their opponent on election years and see if they will listen. As always do not hesitate to contact the CAP office if you need assistance with this.
