For those of you that missed the annual CAP Golf Outing you really missed out on a GREAT day!!! For the second year in a row member operators and vendors gathered for a day of golfing, fun and food. The weather was remarkable even if my game of golf wasn’t. We had approximately 40 members golf and some additional members join us for dinner. A great time was had by all. Next year’s golf outing has been set for Friday, October 10, 2008, so mark your calendars now!

Have you contacted the Association regarding the objectives outlined in the last newsletter? We need your input as well as your assistance to launch this effort. Again we are only asking for a small amount of your time that could eventually have a ten-fold impact on your business. We all have so much to offer the industry; please take a few minutes to touch base.

Last, have you taken a look at CAP’s member benefits lately? We unveiled a new pit waste program through Kline’s this past spring that can save members hundreds each year. Additionally there is an excellent insurance program, a credit card program and website design and development package that collectively offer more than $1,000 in business savings annually.
